The plant is free, with the exception of the cylindrical volume that contains the bathroom and the fireplace, completed by the furnishings from apartment in Johnson of New York, many of which are designed by Mies van der Rohe for his architect friend.
The Farnsworth House of Mies van der Rohe, 80 miles from Chicago, is a symbol of the Modern Movement, designed between 1945 and 1951 as a weekend home for Dr Edith Farnsworth. This steel glass house is in a rural setting, surrounded by nature outside and inside, featuring the presence of a single service block, is considered the poster of the creative genius of Mies van der Rohe.
The Savoye Villa designed by Le Corbusier and Pierre Janneret between 1928 and 1931, twenty kilometers from Paris, is one of the monuments of modern architecture. The fame of this project is also due to the presence of five canons of international style: the free plan, the pillars, the free facade, the long window. The presence of all these factors continues to astonish despite the design year.
